The final game of the 2020/2021 season was upon us and even better it was a cup final. After the way the last two seasons had finished this seemed like a great opportunity to win some silverware and finish on a high going into the next season
Our website has been down for over two weeks which has meant no Match Reports or updates in a while.
After Saturday’s victory against Newark, this game was right round the corner. Our second game in the Chairman’s Cup was never going to be an easy one.
Finally we had some football back at Cannon Park, a big game too with us playing Newark Town in the first group stage game of the Chairman’s Cup.
The league have advised us that no one is allowed in the ground if they can see the football pitch, therefore our plans to have socially distanced members outside our social club will no longer happen
Cannon Park Social Club is open to Retford United Season Ticket Holders and Supporters Club Members ONLY from 14:00 – 17:00 on Saturday.
Tomorrow night’s game versus Newark Town has been postponed. Matches are being arranged for next week but unfortunately because of the DCMS new statement, no fans until May 17th.
