Sherwood Colliery Preview

Tomorrow night the Badgers will hopefully travel to Debdale Park to face Sherwood Colliery Reserves in the Buckingham Insurance Challenge Cup Quarter Finals. I say hopefully because the game may not go ahead due to the extreme weather conditions that have occurred all over England these last few days. The weather has also continued to not improve leaving a doubt on the game. All will be decided by a pitch inspection tomorrow, so make sure to keep a look out on Twitter and Facebook for updates on whether the game will go ahead.

8 Man Retford Defeat Crowle

On Saturday the Badgers faced Crowle Colts, a team that had picked up form since the New Year winning the majority of their games and climbing up the table to seventh. United also in very good form, coming into the game 10 games unbeaten. The Badgers fans travelled to Windsor Park for the first time and in numbers. They hoped to see their team extend the unbeaten streak to 11 and secure a crucial three points on the road.

Three More Points For the Badgers

On Saturday the Badger’s faced mid-table Collingham, but for Retford they wasn’t looked at as a mid-table team. United have struggled for years to get all three points in this game, Collingham was officially Retford’s bogey team, with Retford not getting a win in the last 5 years, home or away. The Badger’s hoped to change this and extend their winning streak to 8 in a row.

United Hit 8 Against Dronfield

On Saturday we travelled to the H E Barnes Stadium to face Dronfield Town Reserves in the hopes of carrying on the momentum and getting another crucial league win. The Badgers could increase their Winning Streak to 7 with a win against Dronfield. New signing Kallum Nix started in the place of the injured Brandon Kane and Dean Conway returned to the starting 11.
